Edgecombe-Nash Humane Society
Has been busy rescuing the many animals
that were abandoned when their owners were forced from their homes. They
have MANY dogs and cats that were rescued from flooded areas and will hold all
the animals they have for 30 days, and then we have to start finding them new
homes because they have nowhere to board all of them. They WILL NOT
DESTROY ANY OF THE RESCUED PETS, but cannot keep them indefinitely.
